Position Description:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, mechanically inclined Production Operator with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands on, field-based work environment. You will be responsible for working in the field with other teams to perform repairs, perform preventative maintenance on existing equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and adjust wells at remote locations to maintain normal operating levels, pressures, and flow on separation equipment, utilizing both automatic and manual controls.
- Inspect gas and oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and associated piping components for leaks or abnormalities, and undertake corrective measures as needed.
- Gauge tanks to facilitate the sale or transfer of crude oil and water.
- Operate and troubleshoot rental compressors, flowing gas wells, gas lift wells, and conduct tests on wells, as well as manage sand traps and flow back equipment.
- Maintain chemical injection rates and handle the startup and shutdown procedures for wells.
- Input production data into computer databases and review outputs for accuracy.
- Conduct walkthroughs of new facilities, manage changes, and participate in pre-startup safety reviews.
- Address regulatory requirements, including agency testing mandates, change of status updates, and tank and meter numbering for new facilities.
- Update piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and site security diagrams for all newly established wells and facilities.
- Respond promptly to alarms during off-hours or when on call.
Requirements:
- Current and valid driver's license.
- 1-2+ years experience requiring mechanical skills, including but not limited to:
- Use, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
- General tasks requiring physical operation of equipment and machinery.
- Performing inspection of equipment and machinery.
- Willing and able to perform/align with following (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions.
- Work in several different geographic locations throughout a single workday.
- Work both in and out of a provided vehicle.
- Wear appropriate special safety equipment.
- Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks.
- Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull.
- Use hand tools to make minor repairs.
- Work weekends, holidays and be on call.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Completion of an associate degree, trade certification, or higher in Production Technology, Process Technology, or a related technical field, or its foreign equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in an environment that prioritizes Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
- Over 1 year of direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology.
- Proficiency in using computers for timely data input.
- Ability to respond to visual and auditory signals, alarms, and instructions.
- Must meet the clean driving insurability standard requirements to operate a provided vehicle, including a clear driving record free of serious infractions.

- Schedule: 8 Days On/6 Days Off (10Hr Days)
- Pay Rate: $30-$38/hr
